Welcome to Coffee County School Nutrition Services!

Good nutrition and learning go hand in hand.

The Nutrition Services department is made up of a team of food and nutrition professionals that are dedicated to students' health, well being and their ability to learn. We support learning by promoting healthy habits for lifelong nutrition and fitness practices.

Meals, foods and beverages sold or served at schools meet state and federal requirements which are based on the USDA Dietary Guidelines. We provide students with access to a variety of affordable and appealing foods that meet the health and nutrition needs of students.

Over 70 system-wide food service personnel prepare over 8,500 meals per day in the Coffee County School System. An average of 5,000 lunches and 3,500 breakfasts are served daily.

Our staff continuously strives to provide healthy meals that are appealing to our students. Good nutritional habits are stressed to help students to develop a positive eating lifestyle.

An average of 85% of our students participate in the School Lunch Program while 50% participate in the Breakfast Program. Currently, all schools are operating under the Seamless Summer Option. This program provides breakfast and lunch at no charge. Students participating in this program are not required to submit a lunch application.

All Coffee County School System Virtual Learners are eligible to participate in our Virtual Meal Program. Simply call (912)389-6517 or email schoolnutrition@coffee.k12.ga.us to register!
